In 2016 Analog Vault had its humble beginnings when a group of friends decided to open a record store above the Chrome Horse saloon in the New Bohemia District (NewBo) of Cedar Rapids. The store flourished that first year and when a space became available in the Historical CSPS Hall Building up the street they didn't hesitate to move into the larger and more accessible space. Since then under the leadership of Jeremy Vega the store has grown and became known as Cedar Rapids one stop for those looking for Vinyl, Cassettes CD's and vintage equipment sales/repair & service.
On January 1st, 2024 the store changed ownership to Albert Powers who will endeavor to continue the exceptional service that Jeremy brought and continue to grow and develop Analog Vault into the Vinyl/Audio store that the Cedar Rapids area wants.
